As we arrive at book three in the series-the reader will find a less than stellar novel. The plot is convoluted, with a sub plot concerning Caroline’s sister that goes nowhere and adds nothing to the story. The writing is flat as the characters move through the plot with no spark or joy. Overall, the book was good enough and I hope book four gets back on track. This series is so original and the first two were awesome.
