I hope everyone had a GREAT reading weekend; I certainly did and I’ll have reviews up later this week. All those books were so good that it leaves me stuck for something new to read; nothing sounds ‘good’. Let’s take a look at a few of the COZY MYSTERY books I have in my TBR stash to see if there is something on there to read:
Louisiana Longshot by Jana Deleon.
Jana has a series called Ghost-In-Law set in Mudbug that is hilarious so when this new series (Miss Fortune) came out I snapped it up volume one. I’ve had it on my list for a while and it looks very good. CIA assassin Fortune Redding goes into hiding by posing as a librarian/former beauty queen in a little Louisiana bayou town. There’s also a dog so this book looks promising!
This Pen for Hire by Laura Levine.
The first in the Jaine Austen series. Freelance writer Jaine pens a love letter for a client that turns into a murder mystery. This series turns up on just about every ‘best of’ cozy list so I need to get on the bandwagon and read this one!
Ghostly Paws by Leighann Dobbs
Ooh, ghosts AND a cat! The plot centers on Wilhelmina as she returns to her hometown of Mystic Notch following a divorce & an ‘accident’ that leaves her able to see the librarian’s ghost. This one looks like a total fun fest!!
Well, now I’m stuck again-these all look good! Whatever will I read this week? What are you reading?
