3 stars. Peter continues learning magic and keeping London safe from criminals. This was very good. Peter, Leslie and Nightingale investigate murders and weirdness including strange goings-on at a housing development. The River God & Goddess and the “Faceless Man” make appearances as does Beverly who may or may not want to get to know Peter a little bit better. Toby the dog adds to the fun and the ending was an unexpected twist. On to book five.
