Two stars. Aubrey moves back home and gets tangled up in a murder investigation at her mom’s B&B. There is a cute handyman and an awesome dog. The actual mystery parts were ok but the story dragged for me as it was more telling the story instead of letting it unfold. Gavin was so snarky and rude that I would have slapped him-why is Aubrey attracted to this jerk? It got better as the plot moved along but I still didn’t ‘get it’ over the romance part of the book. It was a fairly good first book in a new series, I was given a copy for review.
