3 stars. Very good thriller from former FBI director, James Comey. The plot is a good one-in the middle of his trial, the mobster defendant offers to spill what he knows about a murder. Ooh, sounds good and it is, when the murder victim is a disgraced former governor and his alleged killer is the first of many plot twists. Yep, this got good in a hurry. The wrap up of the case was twisty and really well done. The first few chapters did drag as characters and settings were introduced but when the plot takes off, it moves right along with good pace and action. I liked the book; hopefully Mr. Comey has many more stories to tell in future books. I was given a copy-this is my own opinion.
