3 stars. You know what you are getting with Stone Barrington novels! Brett Battles is a worthy successor to Stuart Woods with a seamless transition that brings sex, money, murder together into the same basic plot readers have enjoyed for 65 books. Stone and Dino (along with old friends, family, and nubile young women!) solve everything in time for drinks. No surprises and that’s how I like my Woods/Battles books.
