Wow! This was a weird book! Shannon is an NCIS agent in 1997. A family is brutally murdered and the father, a former Navy SEAL, has vanished. The twist is the dad was an astronaut who served on a ship presumed lost in Deep Time. Wait, what? Deep Time? That’s right, Shannon’s investigation leads her to travel to the future. This is a fever dream of a book that started off strange then veered right past weird and into crazy town. Just when I had it all figured out, off it went again and the ending was cuckoo bananas. Many twists and turns and the plot moves right along. The characters are interesting. I liked the book-didn’t understand parts of it but it was pretty good. 3 stars.
