This is a whiz-bang ending to a great series. Callie and the crew of the White Raven follow mysterious instructions from the “Benefactor”. Who is the Benefactor? Is Kaustikos a helper or a devious spy? Will they find their way to the lost Vanir system and discover the fate of its colonists? Or will the Axiom find them first? This was a really good book. The story, the characters, the way it wraps up the trilogy and leaves a little clue that we may read more from this world were awesome. Not as daredevil as the first book and some of the antics were over the top but very enjoyable. Tim Pratt can definitely tell a great story so I will read more from him. My copy had MANY errors in formatting with missing words and weird pages with paragraphs out of order-just weird but the story was so good I persevered! 3 stars.
