The Ferryman by Justin Cronin

Proctor is a “Ferryman” who delivers people who are “retiring” back to the nursery for regeneration to start their lives over in the island paradise known as Prospera. Who these people are and why they are is an awesome piece of storytelling. Well worth sticking with it past the first 1/3 of the book which was dull and slow to set up the plot. Once the story gets on track it rockets along as the characters peel back layer upon layer of secrets to uncover the truth of Prospera and the dreams that tie it all together; I couldn’t put it down. Four stars. I received a copy-this is my own opinion.
