3 stars. So good! This is Connelly showing off-I liked this book and the way we get Mickey and Harry fighting the good fight for a client that needs all the help she can get. Mickey takes on the case of a woman who says she is innocent of murdering her deputy sheriff husband. Seems simple enough, right? Just get Harry to go through the files and evidence and see if she is legit or just another con trying to out-con the system. The wrinkle is there are secrets that reopening this case will expose and very dangerous people who want to stop Mickey & Harry. I was on the edge of my seat for this one, dear reader! Just when I thought well that’s the end, it’s wrapped up, bam, something else happened and the story took another turn. I was given a copy to share my opinion and it is this: get the book and get stuck in for a page turner that will have you up all night. How are we at Lincoln Lawyer #7 and Harry Bosch #37 and they are still THIS GOOD?!!! You ‘otter’ be reading this book!!
