It’s always fun (and murder-y) to catch up with Shannon, my favorite cozy building contractor. This time she finds gruesome death at a church being renovated into an art museum. The plot was twisty and had some turns I didn’t expect. As the bodies keep piling up, can Shannon discover the secrets from the church’s past that someone is willing to kill to keep hidden? Mac and Chloe are awesome at supporting Shannon and assisting in the investigation. Mac’s life as a writer added some drama and excitement to the story. It was a fun, fast read-book 10 in the series. If you like your cozies with a touch of romance and power tools, you ‘OTTER’ be reading these books. There are three Hallmark movies based on the series that are quite enjoyable.
